  • Bank Holiday Fun Bowls & BBQ

The weather was kind for the afternoon of fun bowling that took place on Bank Holiday Monday (May 29th) There was a good turn with a fundraising Spider competition taking place before the bowls started. This was won by Lesley Mace (below).

Following the bowling the BBQ was a great success with all enjoying a good spread. With nearly everyone eating inside the heavens opened, so it was great timing.

Because of our members generosity, we raised £192.78 for Macmillan Cancer Support from both the Spider and a raffle of a hamper, won by Moira Townsend.

Well done to all those involved.
